What are the postage and packaging charges?

We have three postage and packaging charges based on weight, these then also vary depending on destination. All the prices can be found in the table below.

Shipping costs will be calculated automatically depending on the contents of your shopping cart when you go to checkout.

Light shipping: This is used for products weighing up to 0.5KG, that includes all gloves, hats, slippers and scarves.

Standard shipping: This is used for products weighing over 0.5KG, up to 1.5KG, that includes all jumpers, cardigans and throws. If you were to buy a large quantity of gloves, hats or scarves this may also require standard shipping

Parcelforce 48 / International courier: This is used for products weighing over 1.5KG, that includes all sheepskin rugs or multiple jumper / throw orders. Within the UK we use Parcelforce 48 which is guaranteed 48 delivery and requires a signature. Internationally we will use Parcelforce or another reliable international courier.

We are constantly reviewing our postage and packaging options to get better prices for our customers so please keep checking back.

How long does delivery take?

All orders will be delivered within a maximum of 30 days as per our terms and conditions. However we do aim to despatch the majority of orders as soon as possible from receipt if items are in stock (international orders do take a little longer due to postage delays).

If delivery is likely to take longer than a couple of weeks we will email you to keep you up to date. If there is a specific date you need your order in time for (such as a birthday), please email us and we can let you know if delivery is possible. If ordering for Christmas please note the Royal Mail final delivery dates on their website, from experience the sooner you can order for Christmas the better (early December is best!).

What is your returns policy?

We want you to be totally satisfied with your product. We’ll offer a full refund if you return any unsuitable or unwanted item in its original condition within 14 days of receipt.

For more details about our returns policy please view our terms and conditions.

What hat size am I?

Measure your head by taking a measuring tape and place it around the circumference of the head, slightly above the ears. You can then view your size using the below chart. When choosing your hat size don’t get something too tight as you may get a headache and don’t get one that’s too loose as it will blow off in a strong wind – like Goldilocks, pick one in the middle and it will be just right!

As you’ll see in the chart below, hats sold in S, M, L, XL, XXL tend to bridge more sizes than standard UK hat sizes. For example a medium (M) will likely comfortably fit both a UK 6 7/8 and a 7 head size.

Where used we will be specifying UK sizes on our hats.

One size

Some of our hats don't come in any sizes as they are "One-size fits all". This is mostly for sheepskin and woollen hats as the natural fibres stretch and so fit 'most' head sizes. However if you do need a very large or small size hat we recommend you give us a ring (015242 51747) before purchase as our team in the warehouse is often able to find a 'bigger' or 'smaller' version of our one-size items.

What sizes are your jumpers and cardigans?

Jumper size guideAll the following sizes are an approximation, as due to the nature of natural fibres, such as wool, every jumper may vary slightly.

View the image on the right for an illustration of how each length is measured. Note that body length is measured on the back of the jumper or cardigan.
