SheepSheep.co.uk is the online home of Richard Sexton & Co, a small family run sheepskin and knitwear business established in 1985 by Richard and Justina Sexton. You may have seen our ‘Glencroft’ brand on jumpers, gloves, hats and slippers – especially if you visit one of the many small craft shops we supply in the Scottish Highlands and all over the UK.
Richard has worked in the woollen industry for over 40 years – his experience and network of contacts means we can get you excellent quality local British products at reasonable prices. Where we have travelled further afield to source our products we have met with the people involved to ensure the same standards we expect from our British suppliers. We specify where everything is made so you can be sure of what you are buying – any questions, please ask!
The website is managed by the more techie member of the family – Edward Sexton – who you may see modelling the odd jumper or hat. All orders are then processed by Richard, Justina and a small team at our warehouse in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
We are constantly adding more items for sale through this website as stock becomes available – due to the cottage industry nature of our business we often have exclusive limited runs so keep checking back for the latest products.
Due to the wide variety of colours of some of our products we have a smaller selection online than we would like (some of our tweed hats have over 20 different colour variations so for the website we just pick one or two), however we will be adding local shops to our blog so you can go and find our products near you.
