This sheepskin flying helmet, a variation on a traditional sheepskin trapper, is made in the UK of the best quality 100% sheepskin. It’s made in the style of a traditional RAF pilot’s helmet with flaps which can be worn down and fixed under the chin via two poppers or fixed up via the same poppers.
The sheepskin is a shiny brown leather on the outside with an extremely soft and fluffy inner which is a chocolatey brown colour. Please note the colour may vary a little as this is a natural product.
This hat will keep your head and your ears extremely warm, perfect for a Sunday afternoon drive in a convertible although unfortunately we haven’t yet tested it at 10,000 feet in a Spitfire so can’t vouch for its effectiveness in the skies.
